In addition to providing shelter to homeless mothers and their children, Desda's also provides the children of Desda's Grate the opportunity to attend summer camp. Not only is this camp something that the children look forward to each year, but it also serves as an outlet for working mothers or mothers attending school, as it ensures that their children are taken care of throughout the summer days.
